So I saw that you wanted to have a review of the album but since I haven't heard all the tracks myself (and won't before the official release date). And since GYANT(from gyantunplugged.com) concluded that the album is "AMAZING" and a "Masterpiece", I expect nothing but the best from the new album. I also heard 4 tracks from the BP3 (not the timbaland produced ones) and these songs are incredible. BP3 = Album of the Year, at least for us Jay-z fans!
Jay-Z’s new album Blueprint III has leaked online. And its AMAZING.
I can’t even believe how great a masterpiece it is.
But after hearing this masterpiece, it leaves no doubt in my mind the world is going to herald Blueprint III as a classic.
If hip-hop were a train, Jay-Z and his cohorts [Kanye West, Drake, J.Cole, Kid Cudi and a host of top producers] have hijacked it, laid down a new map and shifted the tracks. In an era where hip-hop has been reduced to fruity loops, you almost forget that hip-hop can actually become pieces of art and not just voices to a mundane beat. And it’s unfortunate that pieces of this artwork is being taken in out of context on various blogs because once you hear them as a collective it all blends together harmoniously.
“D.O.A.” works just fine in its proper context on the album. And I personally hated that track.
Though Jay-Z’s feet haven’t hit a real street in years, its clear he still reads the blogs and has something to say directly and indirectly to critics, fans, foes and fakers. The most explosive piece of art to pop out is “Already Home” feat Kid Cudi. Jay goes into a lyrical assault addressing the people who feel he’s disloyal, doing it wrong, and even for those who call him Joe Camel.
Oh, And ‘all rappers with Alzheimer line up please, all mommy’s with mind freeze please line up pleass, all bloggers with comments please I come in peace, lets see if we can kill ya amnesia before I leave,’ pretty much sums up his extremely clever and artistic way of addressing any and everybody directly yet not at all on art piece #13 “Reminder”.
But beyond the petty, Jay tackles the destruction of hip-hop head on by reminding us all what we should demand as the standard in a genre that’s regressing rather then progressing. Art pieces #5 “Empire State Of Mind” feat Alicia Keys , and #1 “What We Talking Bout” will go down in the books or at the very least the blogs.
And it also looks like King Jay has hand picked his hip-hop court as newcomers J.Cole, Kid Cudi and that damn Drake all carry the prestige honor of attaching themselves to history and carrying hip-hop forward.
To those who reduce Jay-Z to an old man in the game need to go back their respective pen and pads and try harder. He can’t help being this good.
I’ve been praying for a real hip-hop album so long I can’t even remember when I started. And isn’t it ironic that I find that in Jay ‘damn’ Z.
Nothing more can be said.

Comments
Go out and get this album on September 11th!
Could have been better.
Rumored to be Kanye and he on every track. Would have preferred that.
Would have like to see Wale and Lil Wayne on there. Maybe even Mos Def, maybe Talib Kweli.
I mean there was no budget limit for this album, Jay is the President, this album could have changed the face of everything.
It doesn't. 7 out of 10. Not a masterpiece.
Lil Wayne and Drakes past 3 official mixtapes are more fun and looser, sometimes on this album, I feel myself forcing a song, or trying to get through one.
Really was expecting a masterpiece.
