CLASHMAG.COM: Hip hop icon Jay-Z is still in the UK Top Ten with his new single 'Empire State Of Mind' despite missing out on the top spot to Alexandra Burke.
What is it about bad boys? I don't know, you get dressed up, take a girl for a nice meal and then lose out to a good looking rebel who plays by his own rules.
What's the attraction?
It seems as if the nation agrees with Alexandra Burke, however, with her new single 'Bad Boys' racing to number one. The X Factor winner tops this week's chart run down scoring the year's best first week sales.
The talent show winner beat off competition from returning pop icon Robbie Williams, whose new single 'Bodies' has stalled at number two. The one time Take That singer is due to release his new album later this year.
Further down the charts Jay-Z is still in the upper echelons with his Alicia Keys aided track 'Empire State Of Mind'. One of the year's biggest chart success stories, in recent weeks Jay-Z has boasted two separate songs in the Top Ten.
Taken from his recent album 'The Blueprint 3' the single sits at number five on this week's charts.
Meanwhile easy listening star Michael Buble has broken into the Top Ten with his new single 'Haven't Met You Yet'. The jazz-lite star is at number nine, one space ahead of dance icon David Guetta.
