Ok, so last week The Voice of NYC, Angie Martinez “tweeted” about having a nice lil pow wow with Jay-z and since I wasn’t on hand to experience this “moment” between Hov, Angie, Stephen and Harry, I’ll let GB give her twitter account of what went down at Sequoia Restaurant in the Financial District of NYC. The show is set to air September 11th midnight on BET.
Gerren Banks says,
“This is the interview Angie Martinez tweeted about briefly last month. What she failed to mention was that she wasn’t the only person putting Jay in the hot seat that day. Stephen A. Smith & Harry Allen also had a lot of questions for him as well. All of the interviewers have a personal relationship with Jay, so the interview was shot in a way to give a glimpse into a casual and intimate lunch between friends but behind the scenes it was anything but. Angie and Jay had an interesting discussion about fame and Stephen A. Smith and Jay discussed the significance of personal branding and imaging. In the picture with Jay and Harry, you can see the Brooklyn Bridge. Both men are from BK and discussed their love for the borough. There were a total of 4 cameras involved in the shoot. The location was beautiful but it was difficult to shoot because of the large windows.”
