Jay-Z has praised RIHANNA'S courage in the wake of the attack by Chris Brown
The music mogul, who is a mentor and friend to the Umbrella singer, said she had been determined to return to work straight after her then boyfriend hit her in the face.
"Rihanna is a roller," says Jay-Z.
"She goes in hard. She was ready to come back to work from the off. "We were working together and she just said to me 'Let me know when you want me to show up for the video.'
"But I looked out for her. We talk to each other and I give her plenty of advice."
