Beyonce Carter and the founder of Roc Nation, Sean “Jay-Z” Carter gave birth to a baby girl on January 7, 2012 in New York City. Already on the internet rumors have started on the meaning behind their baby daughter’s name, as well as her future. To get things straight the babies name is Blue Ivy Carter and despite the mix reviews I think it’s a beautiful name. You can’t go wrong when a girl’s name is a flower or plant (rose, daisy, jasmine,lily, daisy, ivy, sunflower, aloe, aspen, cypress, dahlia, holly, violet, tulip and the list goes on). All that matters is the sentimental value behind it for the parents. Some celebrities are known to name their children after random objects, but let’s be thankful they did not go the fruit route with using names such as Apple, Banana or Orange.
Blue Ivy is an exotic name and it belongs to someone who will show so much promise and growth.
